Concrete Fence Posts

Concrete posts are a tough and long-lasting choice for keeping fences upright in all weather. You’ll see them used in gardens, school grounds, business yards—you name it.

They hold up well over the years with barely any maintenance. Unlike timber, they won’t rot or snap in high winds. Once they’re in, they tend to stay put for decades without much fuss.

That said, they’re a two-person job to lift and set in place properly. If yours are starting to lean or you’re planning a new run of fencing with concrete posts, we can come out and take a look.

Whether it’s a full install or a quick fix, just get in touch if you're local to Hull—we’ll sort a time for a free visit and let you know what’s needed.

Slotted Wooden Fence Posts

If you want a fence that’s neat and easy to put together, slotted wooden posts are worth a look. We work with them often, especially when sorting out wobbly or damaged posts.

They’re pressure-treated to hold up against rot and damp, and they slot nicely into place with clips or holders. You can drop in most standard fence panels, which makes them a good pick if your garden has uneven shapes or tricky corners. Maintenance is low, and they tend to hold up well over the years.

They can cost a bit more than plain posts, especially from big suppliers. But we’ve got access to good prices through our regular timber yards. If you're after repairs or a fresh install using slotted wooden posts, give us a bell—we’re happy to come take a look and give you a quote.
